SANA'A, March 04 (Saba) - The president of the Supreme Political Council said our hands always extend for peace and dialogue before and after aggression.

"We have never been an obstacle in the way of dialogue. We have made a lot of concessions," said Saleh al-Sammad in an interview conducted by Egyptian al-Badil newspaper on Thursday.

He said the UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed showed mismanagement of the negotiations and adopted the other party's visions and attitudes, mostly the Saudi regime. "Therefore, there is no sign at all for political solutions currently," he said.

Regarding the defense capacities, al-Sammad revealed that Yemen has a lot of options, which are in experiment and development state started with shooting down the Jordanian warplane in Najran, stressing such achievements would continue.

He hoped that Egypt's leading role will return in the region. "We are still counting on Egypt to play prominent role in restoring security and stability in the region."
