TAIZ, Jan. 24 (Saba) – The heroes of the army and popular forces managed on Tuesday to break 48-hour long infiltration attempts by the enemy Saudi-paid mercenaries in southwest of Taiz governorate, a military official told Saba.
The botched series of attempts took place towards the villages of al-Jadid and al-Kadaha.
Dozens of mercenary commanders and their Janjaweed mercenaries were killed and injured in the battles, as well as many of them were captured by the national army.
Tens of the mercenaries' military vehicles were destroyed.
The foiled mercenaries' attempts were heavily covered by Apache helicopters 300 airstrikes, in which white phosphorus bomb were dropped by the Saudi aggression warplanes on al-Mokha port city and the coastal area that links Dhubab district and the villages of al-Jadid and al-Kadaha.
The failed mercenaries ' attempts were also backed by the Saudi aggression warships.
The official also said that military Twin Otter planes participated in transfer live footage and pictures of their mercenaries' abortive attempts to the main military operating room led by senior officers and experts from the United States, Israel, British, Saudi and Emirati states at the Eritrea-based Asab air force base.
