SPC: Int’l community retreat to issue UN resolution to stop aggression on Yemen disregards Yemeni blood, justifies Saudi crimes

SANA’A, Oct. 21 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Sammad has said that the withdrawal of the international community to issue a UN resolution for a comprehensive and permanent end of the aggression on Yemen is a disregard of the Yemeni blood and a justification of the crimes of the Saudi regime.

In a statement to Saba on Friday, Al-Sammad said that “The retreat of the international community to issue a UN resolution for a comprehensive and permanent end of the aggression on Yemen and to interrogate crimes against Yemenis as a response to Saudi pressures is considered a disregard of the Yemeni blood and a justification for the crimes of the Saudi regime,” adding that “This also allows the Saudi regime to keep on its aggression.”

SPC President noted that “The claimed ceasefire by UN envoy comes as an international cover for the Saudi crimes.”

He pointed out that this disregard is a new escalation as took place in previous rounds and as was expected this time concealing ill-intent.

Al-Sammad noted that the past hours witnessed unprecedented escalation by the Saudi aggression in different fronts in Al-Jawf, Al-Buq’a, Medi, Nehm and Serwah under the glare of the international community.

He called on the army and popular committees to double their efforts to confront this dangerous escalation, noting that there is no real intention to find out solutions to lift sufferings of the Yemeni people.

It is clearly understood by the transfer of the Central Bank by the USA, UK, Saudi regime and Emirates to Aden in order to harm every Yemeni through targeting their sustenance as hundreds of thousands of Yemenis are suffering since they have not received their salaries for three months so far.
