NEW YORK, Oct. 28 (Saba) - Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday condemned Saudi-led air strikes targeted Hidan Hospital in Sa'ada province.

The hospital, which is located in Hidan district and run by Doctors Without Borders with support from UNICEF and the World Health Organization, was fully destroyed by airstrikes waged by Saudi warplanes on Tuesday.

Ban Ki-moon called, in a statement received by Saba, for conducting an urgent and impartial investigation in order to ensure accountability, appealing to all parties to the conflict in Yemen to halt all operations, including the air strikes, immediately.

He pointed out that hospitals and medical workers are protected under international humanitarian law.
