Hodeida Tax Office and its affiliated units held a cultural evening Monday under the slogan “Our Prophet is Our Role Model” to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
Governor Abdullah Atifi stressed that honoring this occasion reflects Yemenis’ deep-rooted faith and resilience in the face of aggression, highlighting the Prophet’s teachings as a shield against intellectual and cultural invasion. He said the event reaffirms Yemen’s unity, identity, and unwavering support for Palestine.
Speakers called for strengthening community solidarity, supporting the needy, and embodying the Prophet’s values of mercy and justice. They also urged using the occasion to raise awareness, resist extremist ideologies, and confront the challenges facing the Muslim world.
