Ceremonial events were organized on Sunday in the districts of Hubaish, Yarim, al-Mashanah, Ba’adan, and al-Sayani in Ibb governorate to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
The events were attended by members of the main committees, local authority leaders, and public mobilization officials.
Speeches highlighted the esteemed status of the Prophet in the hearts of the Yemeni people and their commitment to honoring this occasion as a moment to emulate and sincerely return to his noble path.
Speakers touched upon aspects of the Prophet’s noble biography, recounting the luminous moments in his journey as the leader and teacher of the nation, who led humanity from the darkness of ignorance into the light of Islam.
The speakers emphasized that commemorating the Prophet’s birthday reflects true loyalty to the Messenger of God and adherence to his great ethics, values, and behavior.
They noted that the fear of enemies towards this occasion stems from its significance in unifying the nation and reconnecting it with its leader, thereby granting it strength and sovereignty among peoples.
The speakers pointed out that the celebration embodies the Yemeni people’s firm hold on their faith identity and their embodiment of values of love, brotherhood, and solidarity. They called for harnessing this occasion to raise societal awareness and protect future generations from alien cultures that target the nation’s creed and unity.
They also noted that this year’s Prophet’s birthday falls under exceptional circumstances, given the massacres and genocidal war committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza and the suffocating siege that has caused an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
The speakers urged the peoples of the nation to take active steps to break the silence and submission, standing in support of Gaza and its people, stressing that this is a religious, humanitarian, and moral duty.
