Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast Rainfall, strong winds, and disorder at sea over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity, some accompanied by hail, are expected in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Dhale'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Amran, Hajjah, Bayda, and the Tihama Plain.
Scattered rain showers, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely in parts of western Saada, Jawf, and Sana'a, in addition to the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.
Strong to very strong winds are also expected in the Gulf of Aden, around the Socotra Archipelago, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Taiz over the past 24 hours was 2.4 mm, Ba'dan-Ibb: 2.4 mm, and Mahwit: 0.1 mm. Scattered rains also fell on parts of the highlands and Tihama plain.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall. It also warned of mudslides and rockslides on mountain roads.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the southern and eastern coasts.
