Authorities in Ibb governorate held on Monday a meeting, chaired by governor Abdulwahid Salah, to discuss preparations for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday for the year 1447 AH.
The meeting approved the formation of local committees across districts and villages to organize events and activities.
Governor Salah stressed the importance of proper planning and collective efforts to honor this significant occasion.
He affirmed that celebrating the Prophet’s birth reflects the deep love of Yemenis—descendants of the Ansar—for the Messenger, and criticized those who reject the commemoration while normalizing ties with the Zionist enemy.
Participants were urged to actively engage in the celebrations, promote joy, and express devotion to the Prophet. They were also encouraged to uphold values of compassion, support community initiatives, and maintain cleanliness.
Mobilization official Abdulfattah Ghallab emphasized the event's spiritual importance, noting that it reaffirms Yemenis' steadfastness and connection to the Prophet in defiance of hostile forces.
