Gaza – Saba:
As the genocide and starvation campaign by the Zionist enemy continues against the people of the Gaza Strip, 12-year-old Huda Abu Al-Naja, like hundreds of thousands of children in the besieged territory, is enduring a tragic and worsening health condition.
Hospitals in Gaza, once sanctuaries of healing, have been rendered incapable of providing even basic care due to the ongoing siege, depletion of medical supplies and fuel, the systematic targeting of both medical facilities and personnel.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, doctors at a local hospital report that Huda’s condition is deteriorating day by day due to the lack of medicine, nutritional supplements, and adequate care.
Doctors warn that more than half of Gaza’s children suffer from anemia and malnutrition amid international inaction, UN helplessness, and blatant U.S.-Western complicity — a combination that could soon result in mass child fatalities.
Huda, like so many other children, does not understand terms like “siege,” “international community,” or “war crimes” — but she knows the pain of an empty stomach. She knows how it feels to swallow with difficulty, realizing that the milk she once loved is gone, and her mother cries silently, helpless.
Sometimes, Huda glances at the door, hoping to see the shadow of a nurse or the footsteps of a doctor.
Her mother says, “She thinks an ambulance will suddenly arrive, take her to some border crossing, to a clean hospital, to a doctor who hears her when she cries… But she doesn’t know time is running out, and her body is wasting away each day.”
Meanwhile, her father stands over her, dampening a cloth to place on her feverish forehead, silently choking back his grief.
Huda’s family calls on the international community and humanitarian organizations to urgently intervene and save her life — and the lives of thousands of other children — who face slow death each day due to the ongoing siege , war crimes of genocide and starvation.
Medical reports confirm that over half of Gaza’s children under five suffer from anemia and malnutrition. Many are too underweight to receive essential treatments. Some die in silence — unseen, unheard, and unrecorded.
The crimes of genocide and starvation committed by the Zionist enemy extend beyond Gaza’s children — they impact over two million people trapped in the besieged Strip.
