Israeli enemy forces demolished two homes and four agricultural rooms in the village of Wadi Rahal, south of Bethlehem Governorate, on Thursday, as part of a policy of forced displacement and repression against Palestinian citizens in Area C.
Local Palestinian sources reported that large Israeli army forces, accompanied by bulldozers and military vehicles, stormed the village and began extensive demolition operations, including four agricultural rooms used to store agricultural equipment and materials.
The same sources added that military bulldozers also demolished two homes, each approximately 200 square meters in area, one belonging to Ahmed al-Badawi and the other to the Saad family.
Wadi Rahal is one of the areas threatened by seizure and settlement expansion, given its proximity to the Israeli settlement of Efrat, built on Palestinian land south of Bethlehem. It frequently witnesses demolition and bulldozing operations targeting the Palestinian presence.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation authorities demolished 588 facilities in the first half of this year, causing harm to 843 Palestinian citizens, including 411 children. During the same period, they notified 556 facilities of demolition, including 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited ones, 151 agricultural facilities, and 97 facilities classified as sources of livelihood and others, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
