French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on Thursday called for an end to the U.S.- and Israeli-backed aid distribution system in the Gaza Strip, describing it as “shameful.”
Speaking to reporters after meeting his Cypriot counterpart in Nicosia, Barrot said the aid mechanism has led to “bloodshed” and must be halted.
He also urged a halt to the activities of the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," stating that “the armed distribution of humanitarian aid has caused bloodshed at aid centers in Gaza—this is a scandal and a disgrace that must end.”
