The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) strongly condemned on Thursday the bloody massacre perpetrated by the Zionist enemy forces against Palestinian civilians in the Sudanese area, northwest of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of more than 50 Palestinian citizens and the injury of more than 648 others.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the DFLP said, "This is a new crime added to the record of war crimes and genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against defenseless civilians who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid to quell their hunger amidst the stifling blockade and deadly hunger."
It added, "This horrific massacre comes within the context of a systematic policy in which the Zionist entity's government uses aid as a weapon of mass murder and humiliation. It brings it in chaotically and without coordination or security, creating an unsafe environment that led to the looting of approximately 112 aid trucks by war brokers and thieves, amid a complete absence of any oversight or regulation by the relevant international bodies."
It emphasized that the Zionist enemy is not content with preventing food and medicine from reaching the Palestinian people, but rather is deliberately creating chaos and moral and social collapse, paving the way for the spread of crime and corruption, as part of a comprehensive war aimed at dismantling Palestinian society from within and distorting the just national struggle of the Palestinian people.
The Democratic Front warned that the continuation of these massacres and crimes against the Palestinian people, amid international silence and inaction, portends a catastrophic explosion that will have serious repercussions for overall stability in the region and represents a stain on the international community and its humanitarian system.
The Front held the Zionist entity's government fully responsible for this crime and its predecessors.
The Front demanded the formation of an independent international investigation committee to hold Israeli war criminals accountable and bring them before the International Criminal Court.
It also called for a reformulation of the mechanism for the entry and distribution of aid to the Gaza Strip to ensure its fair and safe delivery to those who deserve it, away from the chaos of the enemy and the brokers of hunger and bloodshed.
It concluded its statement by saying: "These massacres will not deter our people from continuing their legitimate struggle until the crimes of genocide are halted, the siege is broken, the enemy's army is swept away, and a comprehensive reconstruction project is launched in the Gaza Strip, on the path to ending the occupation and achieving freedom, independence, and return."
