Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Thursday that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy occupation soldiers and military vehicles, and sniped a soldier atop a tank in Gaza City in two separate operations.

In two separate, the Brigades said: “Our fighters shelled a gathering of enemy soldiers and military vehicles with several mortar shells near al-Arqam School in the eastern al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.”

The Brigades added: “On Wednesday, al-Qassam snipers managed to kill a Zionist soldier atop a Merkava tank using a al-Qassam-designed 'Ghoul' sniper rifle, then bombarded the surrounding area with mortars near al-Arqam School in eastern al-Tuffah."

These operations come as part of the Palestinian resistance’s response to the ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Israeli enemy occupation against the residents of the Gaza Strip—with U.S. support—since October 7, 2023, marked by mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in blatant defiance of international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities.
