The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate confirmed today, Wednesday, that 232 journalists and media workers have been martyred since the Zionist enemy army began its genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the latest being photojournalist Ibrahim Hajjaj.
In a statement, the syndicate mourned photojournalist Hajjaj, who was martyred in an “Israeli” airstrike targeting Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City today while documenting the enemy’s crimes, affirming that Hajjaj’s message will remain alive despite all attempts at killing and intimidation.
The syndicate considered the targeting of Hajjaj and other journalists a systematic Zionist field-execution policy aimed at silencing the Palestinian truth and intimidating media professionals. It held the Zionist enemy fully responsible for this crime and called on the international community to act immediately.
