Palestinian prisoner "Abu Nasr" from Gaza martyred in Israeli prisons
[Wed, 30 Jul 2025 16:59:48 +0300]

Ramallah – Saba:

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced on Wednesday, the martyrdom of prisoner Sayel Rajab Abu Nasr (60 years old), from Gaza, on January 21, 2025, in Israeli prisons.

A joint statement from the Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Prisoners' Club stated that the martyr "Abu Nasr" had been detained in Israeli prisons since November 2023, according to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa."

The two institutions confirmed that the martyrdom of prisoner Abu Nasr brings the number of Palestinian prisoners martyred in Israeli prisons who have been killed since the beginning of the Zionist genocide in Gaza to at least (75), including (46) prisoners from Gaza, only whose identities are known.

While the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement in Israeli prisons has reached 312 since 1967, only those whose identities have been identified, this period represents the bloodiest in the history of the prisoner movement and the most difficult in terms of detention conditions.

The statement indicated that the crimes of the Zionist enemy against prisoners continue to claim the lives of detainees amidst a suspicious international silence, calling for an impartial international investigation into the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

It added that the case of the Gaza detainees remains the most prominent, reflecting an unprecedented level of crimes and atrocities committed against prisoners, most notably torture, starvation, medical deprivation, and sexual assault.

The Prisoners' Authority and the Prisoners' Club warned of their continued exposure to systematic crimes, including the deliberate imposition of conditions that lead to serious and contagious diseases, most notably scabies, in addition to unprecedented policies of deprivation and deprivation.
