Action Against Hunger said that approximately 20,000 children have been hospitalized due to severe malnutrition.
The organization explained in a statement on Wednesday that 300,000 children under the age of five and 150,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women are in dire need of nutritional supplements.
The organization confirmed, according to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, that famine in the Gaza Strip is worsening.
Today, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the recording of seven new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition.
The ministry explained in a brief statement that the total number of deaths due to famine and malnutrition has risen to 154, including 89 children.
