Occupied Jaffa – Saba:
Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement in the occupied territories, announced on Sunday that he, along with other Palestinian figures, has begun a hunger strike in protest against the Israeli enemy’s starvation policies in Gaza.
In a statement to the Sindh News Agency on Sunday, Salah said the hunger strike, carried out alongside a group of Palestinian figures, will take place at the headquarters of the Arab Affairs Care Association in occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) and will last for three days.
He emphasized that this strike is a "clear message to the world that it is time to stop the genocide and starvation war waged by the Israeli enemy against the children, women, men, elderly, and elders of Gaza—all unfolding before the eyes of the world in live broadcasts."
Salah called for increased pressure on certain Arab regimes that have the power to take a decisive stance and open their crossings to allow all humanitarian aid into Gaza.
He added, "We all know that Egypt holds the final decision regarding the Rafah crossing, which connects it to Gaza, and no force in the world can dictate its actions."
The Israeli enemy army continues to commit brutal acts of genocide and starvation against civilians in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 59,821 martyrs and 144,851 injuries since October 7, 2023.
