The Board of Directors of the Youth, Sports, and Youth Welfare Fund held a meeting on Sunday chaired by Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwallad, reviewing performance updates, future strategies, and challenges facing the Fund.
The meeting assessed a comprehensive performance report outlining achievements during the previous phase, evaluating work progress, implementation mechanisms, and prospects for upcoming initiatives. Financial constraints were highlighted as a key factor contributing to the delay of several projects and activities.
Board members approved the Fund’s 2026 budget, which includes allocations for youth and sports programs, project planning, international participation funding, and operational and administrative expenses.
Participants emphasized the need to intensify efforts to overcome budgetary limitations, sustain ongoing development, and continue supporting youth initiatives, sports activities, and national teams.
