Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said last night that the Israeli enemy's interception of the "Handala" ship in international waters, the kidnapping of its passengers, and preventing it from reaching starving Gaza is a crime of terrorism, piracy, and a blatant challenge to the will of humanity.Hamas added, in a press statement, that the enemy army is committing a new crime of piracy in international waters by intercepting the humanitarian ship "Handala" and preventing it from reaching the besieged Gaza Strip, which is being subjected to a war of extermination and systematic starvation.
Hamas praised "the courage of the international solidarity activists and their determination to sail to the Gaza Strip, despite the enemy's terrorism and threats," noting that their message has reached the Palestinian people in Gaza and the world.
It also praised international efforts, especially the free popular initiatives to break the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip, stressing that these actions represent the living conscience of humanity and expose the falsity of the enemy's claims and the complicity of some international parties in the continued suffering of the Palestinian people.
The Movement held the government of the war criminal Netanyahu fully responsible for the safety of the humanitarian solidarity activists with Gaza, calling on free people to continue sailing ships and convoys until the unjust siege is broken and the policy of starvation and thirst against defenseless children and civilians is halted.Hamas called on the United Nations and international organizations to shoulder their legal and humanitarian responsibilities by condemning this crime, pressuring the enemy to stop the genocide, starvation, and blockade of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and holding its leaders accountable for their crimes against humanity.
