Occupied Quds - Saba:
This Sunday morning, Israeli authorities forced two families to demolish their homes in occupied Quds.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the Quds Governorate reported that the Zionist municipality forced the Qara'een family to forcibly demolish their home in the Al-Farouq neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukaber to avoid paying heavy fines.
It explained that six residential apartments were reduced to rubble after the Halwani family was forced to forcibly demolish their residential building in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Quds, displacing approximately 30 people, including children.
The family confirmed that the demolition came after pressure and threats of heavy fines and additional demolition costs if the family did not carry out the demolition. This forced them to demolish their home themselves to preserve what remained of their property.
According to data, the enemy demolished or bulldozed more than 153 facilities and forced their owners to demolish them during the first half of 2025.
