Washington – Saba:
An unpublished internal report by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has found no evidence that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has stolen humanitarian aid intended for the Gaza Strip.
Directly contradicting the basis on which both the U.S. and Israel have justified blocking aid to the besieged enclave, the American report—completed in June 2025—revealed that a review of 156 incidents involving the loss or theft of U.S.-funded humanitarian supplies found no indication that Hamas had benefited from them.
Contrary to claims promoted by Washington, the report—cited by the Palestinian Shehab Agency on Saturday—showed that 44 of those incidents were directly or indirectly linked to ongoing Israeli aggression and to "gangs" supported by Israel within the Gaza Strip.
The report, which has not been officially released, exposes the falsity of Israeli and American allegations used to justify the complete closure of border crossings and tight control over aid flows. This comes as the starvation campaign reaches unprecedented and catastrophic levels in modern history, amid deadly famine and a total collapse of infrastructure and medical services.
