Beirut – Saba:
Head of the Union of Resistance Scholars Sheikh Maher Hamoud said that the systematic starvation and human genocide taking place in Gaza is not comparable to natural disasters or temporary crises, but rather a full-fledged crime in which the world is complicit.
Sheikh Hamoud added, in a statement to the Palestinian Shehab News Agency, that "the Arabs are partners in this crime before the Americans and Israelis, or at least to a similar extent."
He pointed out that what is happening is not a war against Hamas or the resistance, as they claim, but rather "a war against refugees and displaced persons, against children who are dying of hunger while standing in line in tents, asking for food that we would not feed to a pet."
The head of the Union of Resistance Scholars asked, "When will this nation wake up?" He emphasized that the voice today comes only from the resistance fighters and their supporters, "who represent less than 10% of the nation that has neglected and abandoned its role from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf."
He added, "Gaza is not being destroyed because it contains resistance, but because they want to turn it into an empty land, devoid of people, into resorts and squares devoid of dignity. But the resistance fighters on this land refuse to leave it, and they have sanctified it with their blood, patience, and conviction."
Hamoud explained that "the blood of the hungry and the cries of the children of Gaza will bear witness on Judgment Day to the betrayal of this nation."
