Gaza – SABA:
Six Palestinian civilians, including two children, were killed and others wounded on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the arrival of six martyrs’ bodies, including two children, along with several injured victims. According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the strike directly hit a tent in an area that had been designated “safe” by the Israeli occupation forces.
Backed by the United States and European powers, the Israeli army has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023. As of today, it has resulted in the deaths of 59,733 Palestinian civilians, the majority of them women and children, and 144,477 injured, in a toll that remains incomplete due to thousands still trapped under rubble and in inaccessible areas.
