The German capital, Berlin, witnessed a demonstration on Friday by supporters of Palestine, opposing the Israeli starvation policy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Anadolu Agency, hundreds of Palestine supporters gathered on Sigismund Street, near the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin and the German Ministry of Defense.
The demonstrators brought plates, pots, and spoons and banged them during the demonstration to denounce Israel's prevention of food aid entering Gaza and its starvation policy against Palestinians in the Strip.
The demonstrators also carried Palestinian flags and banners reading "Stop the genocide," "Silence is complicity in crime," "Open the Rafah crossing and save civilians," and "Yes to bread, no to bombs."
The participants also chanted anti-Israel slogans, calling on Germany and the international community to take action against the famine in Gaza, which has reached unbearable levels.
Police also imposed heavy security measures at the rally site and closed several nearby roads.
