Dr. Ismail Al-Thawabteh, Director-General of the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, reiterated his praise on Friday for the steadfast positions of the Yemeni people in supporting Gaza.
He particularly highlighted the unprecedented million-strong popular rallies that have astonished the world, the latest being the massive march held on Friday in the capital, Sana'a, and across all free Yemeni governorates.
In a post on the platform "X," he stated: "Yemen was and will remain a symbol of pride, dignity, and genuine chivalry in an era of betrayal, humiliation, and submission. These scenes of unprecedented million-strong crowds amaze the world. The Yemeni people are rising as one in support of our beloved, wounded Gaza, as if declaring: 'We will not leave Palestine alone, even if the whole world conspires to abandon it.'"
He added: "O people of Yemen, O true brothers of wisdom and faith—may Allah elevate your status, honor your faces, and grant you victory over our enemy and yours. May the eyes of the cowardly, the traitors, the hesitant, and the normalizationists never find rest."
In another "post" today, Friday, commenting on a video of the massive crowds in Al-Sabeen Square, he said:
"The great Yemeni people once again prove that they are the epitome of authenticity and chivalry—there is no people like them on the face of the earth. These scenes shake hearts and confirm that we in Gaza are not alone, for there are those who stand with us and feel our pain in word, deed, and action."
