Bethlehem - Saba:
A Palestinian citizen was martyred Friday evening after being shot by Israeli enemy forces near the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the General Civil Affairs Authority informed them of the martyrdom of an unidentified citizen by enemy gunfire near Beit Fajjar, with his body being withheld.
Earlier, security sources told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that enemy forces opened fire on a citizen at the western entrance of Beit Fajjar, claiming he was carrying a knife, before detaining him. Further details remain unknown.
Paramedics confirmed that the enemy forces completely sealed off the area, preventing them from reaching the scene. It remains unclear whether the citizen was injured at the time.
Alongside the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the Israeli enemy army and settlers have escalated their attacks across the West Bank, including occupied Quds. According to official figures, over 1,000 citizens have been martyred since October 7, 2023, with nearly 7,000 injured and more than 17,000 arrested.
