Gaza – SABA:
Ali Baraka, senior official in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), congratulated the Lebanese people on the release of veteran Lebanese freedom fighter George Ibrahim Abdallah, who arrived in Beirut on Friday, adorned with dignity and honor after spending 41 years unjustly imprisoned in French jails due to his unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Baraka said George Abdallah’s steadfastness over four decades behind bars embodied a living model of loyalty to Palestine and reflected the unity of liberation struggles between the free people of the Arab world and the world at large. He stressed that Abdallah’s stance truly reflects the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of all free nations.
Baraka added that Abdallah’s release represents a historic achievement and brings renewed attention to the complicity of Western governments with the Zionist occupation and their blatant bias against those who resist oppression and domination. He emphasized that this case will remain a powerful testament to the hypocrisy of these regimes.
