The Yemeni governorate of Al-Mahwit witnessed 94 protest marches and rallies under the slogan “We Will Not Be Silent in the Face of Gaza’s Genocide and the Desecration of the Nation and Its Sanctities,” with participation from local and security leaders.
Demonstrators reaffirmed their unwavering stance against “Zionist and American arrogance,” raising banners condemning the aggression and expressing strong support for the Palestinian cause, while rejecting normalization with the enemy. They stressed that the Palestinian issue is an Arab and Islamic cause, affirming their full support for the resistance by all means until liberation.
They denounced the Arab and Islamic silence toward the crimes of the occupation in Gaza, holding the U.S. and the Israeli entity fully responsible for the genocide. Protesters welcomed recent statements by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi regarding potential new escalation options and confirmed their readiness to implement any decision in support of Gaza.
They emphasized that the rallies reflect a position rooted in faith and jihad, expressing confidence in God’s promise of victory and viewing support for Palestine as a core part of their identity and belief.
