Occupied West Bank - Saba:
Hamas leader Abdulrahman Shadid considered that "the continued suppression by the PA security forces of the popular marches taking place in the West Bank governorates, denouncing the ongoing genocide and systematic starvation being perpetrated against the people of the Gaza Strip, is support for the enemy's position and its ongoing aggression against our people and our land."
Shadid said in a statement on Friday that these angry marches are the simplest means of solidarity among the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza.
He added that these marches are a national effort and a religious duty that must be met with support and participation, not with repression, arrests, and persecution of participants.
Shadid called on the PA security forces to erase this shame and to refrain from harming the free people of the country, who are facing the crime of genocide and plans for annexation and displacement. He called on them to stand in the trenches of confrontation and defiance of the enemy, which will not show mercy even to those who support and coordinate with it.
He strongly called for the continuation and intensification of all popular activities, marches, and support campaigns, and for providing all possible means of support to the people in the Gaza Strip until their siege is broken and the brutal Zionist aggression against them ends.
