Sana’a – Saba:
The Association for Healthcare of Affected Communities is set to launch its 67th free medical eye surgery camp on Saturday in al-Jarahi district of Hodeida governorate.
The camp will be held at al-Jarahi Hospital from 1st to 6th of Safar, with funding provided by the General Authority for Zakat, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and Environment, and in cooperation with its office in the governorate.
The initiative aims to provide eye examinations and perform 200 surgeries, including cataract removal, pterygium excision, and removal of eyelid lipomas, targeting vulnerable residents of the district to help ease their suffering amid the ongoing consequences of the aggression and blockade.
