Brussels – Saba:
Sixty members of the European Parliament called for urgent action to halt the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, stressing that "children in Gaza are dying of hunger, and the European Union is responding with weak words without any action."
In a press release, the MPs called for an emergency meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council to discuss measures against "Israel," demanding "the submission of a package of sanctions against Israel for adoption by the EU Foreign Affairs Council."
