Sana'a - Saba:
Legal Sector of the Capital Sana'a, in cooperation with the Development Research and Training Department, on Tuesday organized a workshop on "Promoting Legal Concepts and Awareness," targeting local authority leaders, executive offices, and their legal cadres.
The workshop aimed to enhance compliance with laws and consolidate the concepts of institutional work, integrity, and transparency, thus contributing to improved administrative performance.
The workshop addressed key topics, including the rule of law, the difference between mandatory and supplementary rules, legal hierarchy, administrative and disciplinary responsibilities, and common violations.
Dr. Maryam al-Jawfi, a member of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, emphasized the importance of legal awareness in avoiding violations and preserving public funds.
Hamoud al-Naqeeb, head of the Social Affairs Committee at the Capital Sana'a's local level, also pointed out the need for leaders to benefit from the workshop's themes to apply the law in serving citizens.
Legal Sector Deputy Director Fatiha Abdulwasie explained that the workshop is part of the Capital's efforts to develop administrative performance based on sound legal foundations.
