Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of Sheikh Masoud bin Hussein Shathan, the elder of the Al-Amalissa tribes in Al-Hashwah District, Sa’ada Governorate, who died at the age of 100.
In his message to the sons of the deceased—Mohsen, Abdullah, Fahd, and Ahmed—President Al-Mashat praised the late Sheikh’s honorable national stances and his notable contributions to tribal reconciliation and social harmony.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the sons of the deceased, the Al-Shathan family, the Amalissa tribe, the Dahm confederation, and all tribes of Hamdan bin Zaid.
