The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 73 Ukrainian drones last night targeting areas in the southwest of the country.

The Ministry of Defense stated on Friday that 31 drones were downed in Bryansk Oblast, 17 in Oryol Oblast, 13 in Moscow Oblast and the capital, four in Crimea, three in the Sea of Azov, two in Smolensk Oblast, two in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, one in Belgorod Oblast, one in Kaluga Oblast, one in Voronezh Oblast, and one in the Black Sea.

Earlier on Friday, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the destruction of two Ukrainian drones heading towards the Russian capital, Moscow.
