Rome – Saba:
AC Milan announced on Monday the signing of Croatian football star Luka Modric for one season, following the end of his career with Real Madrid.
In a statement on the club's official website, the club explained that Modric, 39, signed a contract until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional season until June 30, 2027.
This signing comes after Modric, the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner, ended his association with Real Madrid.
Modric participated with the royal team in its final match at the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States, concluding a 13-year career during which he won 26 titles, setting a record as the most-winning player in the history of the Spanish club.
