Sana’a – Saba:
The spokesperson for the Government of Change and Construction, Hashem Sharaf al-Din, said the issuance of the new 50-riyal coin represents nothing less than “a cornerstone in building Yemen’s sovereignty” and a new page in the nation’s record of economic victories—one that will not be the last in its ongoing journey of resilience, progress, and transformation.
Speaking to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Sharaf al-Din stated, “This record—written by the wisdom of the revolutionary and political leadership, and the competence of the heroes on the economic front—will continue, by the will of God, to add new chapters of steadfastness.”
He added, “Every beneficial national currency made available to the people is a bridge toward sovereign decision-making. Every economic victory achieved is an unshakable fortress in the face of enemy. And every financial success is a protective shield in the battle for dignity—a sword that splits the conspiracies of Yemen’s enemies, by God's grace, and with the resolve of men who know no impossibility.”
Sharaf al-Din affirmed that the Yemeni people will continue reaping the fruits of the Central Bank’s efforts, emphasizing that “Yemen’s victories are minted in the factories of willpower before they are struck in the mints, and Yemen’s glory is shaped by a people who etch their history in gold.”
