Sana’a – Saba:

The local authority and Public Mobilization Office in Arhab district of Sana’a province organized a cultural evening on Sunday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) under the theme “Imam Zaid: Insight and Jihad.”

During the event held in Zandan area, District Director Khaled al-Uqaida highlighted aspects of Imam Zaid's legacy and his stance against corruption. He described the Imam as a model of steadfastness and unwavering commitment to truth in the face of injustice, moving sincerely for the sake of God.

Al-Uqaidah stressed the importance of remembering such historical figures, especially amid ongoing attempts to distort Islamic principles, noting the aggression and suffering endured by the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.

Also speaking at the event, Deputy Mobilization Officer Katheer al-Obaidi discussed the hardships and oppression facing both nations, particularly the targeting of civilian life. He praised Yemen’s unwavering support for Palestine, rooted in the revolutionary spirit of Imam Zaid.

Meanwhile, a student event was held in Jehana district at al-Leader Martyer School in Hajla area to mark the same occasion.

Public Mobilization Officer in the district Saleh al-Hosani spoke about Imam Zaid's remarkable character and legacy as a Quranic figure who dedicated his life to reforming the nation and confronting false ideologies.

He emphasized that the commemoration is an opportunity to return sincerely to the core values of Islam and follow the path of the righteous—upholding responsibility, patience, sacrifice, and resistance in support of the oppressed, regardless of the challenges.
