Berlin - Saba:
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz considered what the Israeli government is doing in the Gaza Strip "unacceptable."
In press statements on Sunday, Merz expressed his rejection of what has been happening in Gaza for weeks.
Israeli enemy forces renewed their aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, 2025, with airstrikes across the Strip, violating a ceasefire agreement with Hamas and other resistance factions that had been in effect for approximately 60 days. The agreement was brokered by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar.
Israeli enemy forces renounced the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, which was supposed to last for 42 days, followed by a third phase of the same duration, leading to a permanent cessation of hostilities and aggression.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, 58,026 people have been martyred , while the number of wounded has reached 138,520, approximately 72% of whom are women and children, according to the Ministry of Health.
