Sana’a – SABA:
Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, along with Sana’a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Obad, visited the Higher Academy of the Holy Qur’an and Its Sciences – Girls’ Branch.
During the visit, Dr. Bin Habtoor was briefed on the academy’s current activities and ongoing projects funded by the Sana’a Municipality. Academy official Al-Ezi Rajeh outlined the institution’s role in educating a generation grounded in Qur’anic knowledge and values, aimed at spreading Qur’anic culture and reinforcing Yemen’s faith-based identity.
Ongoing projects include:
- Construction of a lecture hall for 800 female students
- Expansion of the student dormitory to house 120 students
- Building a separating wall between the college and dormitory
Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the Sana’a Municipality for supporting these initiatives, calling the academy a model educational institution. He acknowledged the efforts of the municipal leadership and those overseeing construction and development projects.
He also commended the academy’s leadership, highlighting the institution’s positive presence and growing enrollment within just four years of establishment, and expressed appreciation for the dedication of its staff and commitment to continuous development.
