Dhamar - Saba:
The Makhlaaf Munqidha Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Association in Dhamar province launched the distribution of 3,000 diverse fruit seedlings to farmers across 14 villages in Makhlaaf Munqidha.
During the launch, Eng. Hafez Al-Junaid, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Sector in the province, emphasized the importance of this initiative in expanding the cultivation of economically beneficial fruit trees. Al-Junaid stressed the need for concerted efforts to ensure the success and expansion of such projects, translating directives aimed at achieving food security, self-sufficiency, and eventually exporting surplus produce.
Meanwhile, Eng. Ahmed Shukhb, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makhlaaf Munqidha Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Association, outlined the association’s plans to support farmers in expanding the cultivation of various fruits. He commended the role of the agricultural sector, the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, and local authorities in supporting the association with fruit seedlings.
