The Court of Appeal in Hajjah province conducted written tests on Sunday for candidates applying to work as Sharia notaries in the districts of Ash-Shaghadirah, Aydinah, Al-Mahabishah, Al-Miftah, Kuhlan Affar, and Sharas.
Appellate Court Judge Hussein Al-Houthi stated that 105 candidates took the exams, which cover personal status laws, documentation, real estate registration, and all relevant Sharia rulings related to inheritance and property division.
He emphasized the importance of these tests in assessing the candidates' understanding of legal and Sharia provisions and their suitability for the role of a Sharia notary.
Meanwhile, Judge Issam Al-Hajjan, head of the Notary Admission Committee, and Court Director Abdulkarim Al-Ansi, a committee member, highlighted the crucial role of Sharia notaries in safeguarding people's rights and reducing disputes. The admission committee also included Documentation Director Fadhl Fadhail and Notary Department Head Aref Al-Zarqa.
