A spokesperson for international aid organization Oxfam stated on Sunday that “Israel is indiscriminately bombing all areas across the Gaza Strip, making the humanitarian situation catastrophic.”
In remarks reported by the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the Oxfam official also accused Israel of undermining and obstructing the work of humanitarian organizations and UN agencies.
Backed by the United States and European countries, the Israeli military has continued what has been described as a campaign of genocidal attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023. As of today, the assaults have led to the killing of 58,026 Palestinian civilians, the majority of them women and children, and the injury of 138,520 others—figures that remain incomplete as thousands of victims are still trapped under rubble or on streets inaccessible to rescue teams.
