UNRWA: Rise in Malnutrition Cases in Gaza
[Sun, 13 Jul 2025 13:32:55 +0300]

New York - Saba:

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that its clinic in the Gaza Strip has recorded an increase in malnutrition cases since the beginning of the Israeli blockade in March.

In a statement posted Sunday on its account on the “X” platform, UNRWA stated that its teams continue working in Gaza to assist the most vulnerable groups, despite a severe shortage of essential medical supplies.

The agency noted that it has not been allowed to bring in any humanitarian aid since that time.

Since March 2, Israeli occupation authorities have closed Gaza’s border crossings to all supplies and humanitarian aid, plunging approximately 2.4 million Palestinians into a state of famine.
