Tulkarm – Saba:
Israeli occupation forces continued on Saturday the demolition of residential buildings in Tulkarm refugee camp, amid an ongoing assault on the camp and the city for the 167th consecutive day.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli enemy bulldozers have since early morning been demolishing more homes in al-Foul and al-Murabba neighborhoods. These operations are part of a new plan to demolish 104 buildings housing over 400 homes and come in continuation of similar demolitions carried out in recent days across several areas of the camp.
Last Sunday, the Israeli occupation authorities announced their intention to launch large-scale demolitions in Tulkarm camp, disregarding a previous Israeli Supreme Court decision to freeze the demolition orders.
Meanwhile, Nur Shams refugee camp is witnessing an escalating military assault and a tight siege imposed by Israeli enemy forces for the 154th day in a row.
Occupation soldiers have deliberately set homes on fire, especially in Jabal al-Nasr area, while blocking civil defense vehicles from entering the camp to extinguish the flames.
The escalation has resulted in the forced displacement of over 5,000 families from both Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps—more than 25,000 people in total. Over 600 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2,573 partially damaged, amid continued road closures and military barriers turning the camps into lifeless zones.
