Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Saturday that they had successfully sniped a Zionist soldier and targeted an Israeli enemy command and control post.
In two statements received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Brigades stated that their fighters had shot and fatally wounded a Zionist soldier in the Abasan al-Kabira area, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Additionally, the Brigades reported that their fighters targeted an Israeli enemy command and control post east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City with mortar shells.
Earlier on Saturday, Al-Qassam announced that its fighters had destroyed a military excavator and two military bulldozers belonging to the Israeli enemy east of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
These operations come as part of the Palestinian factions' response to the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip, with American support, since October 7, 2023. The aggression includes killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, disregarding international appeals and the International Court of Justice's orders to halt it.
