Tehran - Saba:

Satellite images show the aftermath of the Iranian missile attack on the US Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar

Satellite images show that the Iranian missile attack on the US Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar struck a triangular dome housing equipment used by Americans for secure communications.

Satellite images from Planet Labs PBC show the triangular dome at Al-Udeid Air Base on the morning of June 23, hours before the attack.

However, images taken on June 25 and later show the dome missing, with some damage visible to a nearby building.

Hours after the Associated Press published the report, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell acknowledged that an Iranian ballistic missile had struck the dome.

The Iranian missile attack on the US Al-Udeid Air Base outside the Qatari capital, Doha, on June 22 came in retaliation for the US bombing of three nuclear sites in Iran.

It is worth noting that on June 13, in flagrant violation of international law and Iran's national sovereignty, the Zionist entity targeted areas in Tehran and several other cities, including nuclear facilities, medical centers, and hospitals, as well as residential areas across the country.

This terrorist act killed a number of senior commanders and cadres of the armed forces, nuclear scientists, and civilians.

In continuation of this aggression, the United States also joined the Zionist entity's war on Iran on the morning of Sunday, June 22, by launching a direct attack on the nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Iran responded with a missile attack on the American Al-Udeid base in Qatar.

As a result of the crushing missile strikes launched by the Iranian armed forces against various parts of the occupied territories, especially Tel Aviv and Haifa, the Zionist entity was forced to accept the ceasefire announced by the US President 12 days after the aggression. Iran announced that it would cease its response if the aggression ceased.

According to official Iranian statistics, approximately 1,100 citizens have been killed so far as a result of the Zionist aggression, and more than 5,600 others have been injured.
