Ramallah - Saba:
Zionist settlers stormed the Al-Auja waterfall area in Jericho on Saturday morning, releasing their livestock among the homes of Palestinian residents.
According to Sanad News Agency, the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported that Zionist settlers continue to invade the Al-Auja area daily during both morning and evening hours, grazing their livestock within residential zones—causing significant damage to agricultural lands and local pastures.
The organization noted that these activities occur under the protection of occupation forces, creating ongoing tension among residents and negatively impacting their safety and stability.
It also highlighted the lack of effective measures by relevant authorities to protect the population and their property, further exacerbating the suffering of residents in the area.
Meanwhile, on Friday evening, settlers pitched tents on Palestinian-owned land in the town of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit.
Anti-settlement activist Nazmi Salman reported that a group of settlers set up several tents in the western part of the town, between Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan, in what appears to be a move to seize the land and establish a new settlement.
He pointed out that Deir Istiya is a targeted area by the occupation and settlers, with nine settlements and two settler outposts already established on its lands—posing a direct threat to the town’s agricultural and environmental resources.
