Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered and variable rainfall across several governorates, and rough seas along the southern and eastern coasts, the Gulf of Aden, and the Socotra Archipelago over the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that variable rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected across parts of the governorates of Amran, Hajjah, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Dhale'a, Taiz, and the Lahj Highlands.
Scattered rainfall, possibly accompanied by thunder, is likely across parts of the governorates of Saada, Mahwit, Sana'a, Bayda, Shabwah, Hadhramaut, the eastern coasts, and the Tihama Plain.
The center indicated strong to very strong winds across the Socotra Archipelago, and moderate to strong winds along the Gulf of Aden and the southern and eastern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Hajjah over the past 24 hours was 7.6 mm, Ibb-Ba'dan: 6.6 mm, Mahwit: 0.6 mm, Hadah Meteorological Sector: 0.6 mm.
Scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity fell on parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Dhamar, Raymah, Taiz, Dhale'a, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadhramaut, but these were outside the stations.
The center warned citizens in mountainous areas where rainfall is expected to occur of thunderstorms and of staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of high waves and rough seas in the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the southern and eastern coasts.
