Taiz - Saba:
The offices of Finance, Customs, Taxes, and the executive units for Taxation of High-Income Earners, Real Estate Revenue, and Qat Sales organized a speech event to commemorate Al-Wilayah Day, under the slogan "For whomsoever I am his Mawla, Ali is his Mawla."
During the event, *Muhammad Al-Washli, Head of the Planning Sector in the province, emphasized that the principle of Wilayah (allegiance) is the only guarantee to protect the nation from any breaches. He noted that the setbacks faced by the nation stem from a deviation from this principle, as dignity, victory, and prosperity are intrinsically linked to Wilayah.
He pointed out that the absence of Wilayah has led the nation to its current state of fragmentation, stressing that the path to victory lies only in sincere allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the guiding leaders.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Al-Mahfadi, Director of the Customs Office, affirmed that Wilayah is not merely love but also entails following, obedience, and commitment. He highlighted that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) was a symbol of justice, courage, knowledge, and asceticism—a model to be emulated in life.
He also discussed the significance of commemorating Al-Wilayah Day as a life project, reinforcing adherence to Imam Ali’s path and deriving lessons from his biography through sincere allegiance to overcome global tyranny.
For his part, Muhammad Al-Junaid, Deputy Director of the Executive Unit for Taxation of High-Income Earners, emphasized the importance of reviving this occasion, which comes at a time when the nation is facing one of the most critical phases in its history, with enemies violating its sanctities.
He stressed the role of Wilayah in safeguarding the nation from the plots of arrogant and hegemonic powers, explaining that allegiance to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) ensures the unity and strength of the nation in confronting challenges.
