The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that the Israeli enemy targeted the research reactor and heavy water nuclear complex in Khandab, in clear violation of international laws prohibiting the targeting of nuclear facilities.
The organization clarified in press statements on Thursday that the bombing of the research reactor and heavy water nuclear complex in Khandab did not result in any casualties.
The organization continued: "We informed the International Atomic Energy Agency in advance of Israel's threat to nuclear facilities, but it did not take any action."
At dawn on Friday, the Israeli enemy launched an aggression against Iran, bombing nuclear facilities and missile bases and assassinating a group of first-rank military leaders and nuclear experts. Iran responded on Friday evening and Saturday morning by launching hundreds of ballistic missiles at the heart of the usurping Zionist entity, killing a number of Israelis, wounding dozens, and causing significant damage.
